Marking my journey as a Makeover artist has been such a fulfilling experience. I always had a knack for this beautiful art of creativity which brings in the transformation in any being. Having seen my brother doing the same, I have had so many wonderful experiences just looking at his work and learning bits of it. I craved my path toward this wonderful field in 2012. Hailing from Bihar, this sure was not a very convenient method but with the love and passion that I had towards being a makeup artist, my journey became a little steadier, if not very easy.
Journey as a Makeup Artist and a Hair Stylist
I started my journey in 2012 with 4 Real News, where majorly my work as a makeup artist was doing the anchor’s makeup and hair styling. From there, I have done work for several other organizations like Homeshop18. My turning point came in when I got the opportunity to work with a distinctive figure in the fashion industry, Mr. Manish Malhotra where I was the main makeup artist during the fashion week. From Star World’s Mass Entertainer to various Fashion Weeks and national and international events, I find myself lucky to have received so much love and appreciation. Along the line, I have been working with various celebrities from the TV and Movie industry doing bridal makeup, for advertisements, and also for various corporations and events. However, due to the unlimited possibility of showcasing my creative side and not having to stick by the rules, the Fashion Industry has been one of my favorites to be a part of.
Having said that, doing makeup and hair styling is my primary focus of mine. Makeup for me is not just about an external adoration done on someone, it is more about the inner expression that is showcased on the outside. It is a creative fulfillment of emotions and expressions of my client and me.
